The final of our annual speech competition was held on the afternoon of Wednesday 2nd April. Yet again the standard was incredibly high and the judges, Father Jonah Watts and Mrs Penny Bowes had an incredibly difficult decision to make.
Our winner this year was Abbie E from Year 3 Class 3. The judges said Abbie’s presentation was very well thought through and she spoke very confidently, clearly and articulately about ‘cows and
the milking process’. Well Done Abbie!

Welcome

We currently have places available in most years. Please contact the office if you would like to make an appointment to visit the school.

Welcome to Owslebury Primary School!  We are proud of our small rural village school set in the beautiful rolling Hampshire countryside six miles south east of Winchester. Our parents describe us as a ‘hidden gem’.

Visitors to our school are struck by the warm welcoming environment, our sense of community, our polite, motivated and well behaved children and the large and purposeful grounds. We have a positive and enthusiastic staff team who are dedicated to working effectively with parents and governors to ensure the children have meaningful, exciting and challenging learning opportunities. Children experience a rich and varied curriculum. One of our many strengths is our continuous commitment to achieve the very best education for our children. All of which was recognised by Ofsted in March 2013.

We strongly value our partnership with parents and provide a variety of opportunities where parents can become involved with their child's school life.

The characteristic that summarises us best is the number of happy faces that can be seen here every day and that our children say ‘we are like a family-we all look after one another here’.

We are extremely proud that we are able to share our school with you via our website and hope that you gain a real 'feel' for our school. If you are new to the area and are looking for a new school for your child to attend our children would welcome the opportunity to show you around - they are excellent ambassadors!

We welcome visitors.  If you would like to see our school, please contact our Admin Office to arrange an appointment.
