Summer 2 (2025/26)-Our Wonderful World
Our Wonderful World
This term, Morstead Class has been exploring our topic, Our Wonderful World. We have learned about recycling and the impact that plastic pollution has on our planet. As part of our learning, we enjoyed a visit from representatives from Biffa, who taught us about the importance of recycling and how our everyday actions can help protect the environment.
We have also been studying the life and achievements of David Attenborough, learning about the significant impact he has had on our understanding of the natural world over the years. This inspired us to explore historical timelines and sequencing events from his life and career. This led us to look at the range of ages within the class, and order the teachers and the students in birth order.
To support our topic, we have been enjoying reading a class book about David Attenborough, which has helped us learn even more about his passion for wildlife and conservation. We have thoroughly enjoyed discovering ways that we can all play a part in looking after our wonderful world.
