Our pupils recently enjoyed an exciting musical experience when Hampshire Music Service visited Owslebury Primary School to deliver specialist instrumental lessons.

Children had the opportunity to learn a range of instruments including flutes, clarinets, trombones and trumpets, discovering new skills and developing their confidence week by week. With expert guidance from experienced tutors, pupils learned to read music, practise as part of an ensemble and perform a variety of songs.

The programme culminated in a fantastic finale concert for parents and families, where our young musicians proudly showcased their dedication, progress and growing talent. It was wonderful to see their hard work rewarded with such an enthusiastic and supportive audience.

We are incredibly proud of the commitment, resilience and enthusiasm shown by all of the children throughout this enriching musical journey.
