Spring 2 Fantastic Galactic
Monday 7th March - Hook Day
Today we started our Fantastic Galactic topic with some Space art, baking and dance. We began the day with some mindfulness Space colouring and wrote down everything we already know about Space and everything we want to find out this half term. We watched Maddie, Space and You: The Solar System to find out the names of the planets in the solar system. The children then painted their own solar system, ordering the planets from the closest to the sun to the furthest away. In between all of this they made Space Rock Cakes! After lunch the children told a 'Space Travel' story through dance/movements. More photos to follow!
